Homeowner burglarized twice
While attempting to rob a house in the US, a burglar got trapped in the garage. Stuck there for a week and forced to survive on dog food, the burglar subsequently sued the homeowner for mental distress. Surprisingly, he was awarded USD500,000 as his claim was upheld.
