Doha Insurance opens rep office in Beirut

Doha Insurance Group (DIG) is pleased to announce that it has obtained final approval from Qatar Central Bank to establish a representative office in Beirut, Lebanon under the name of “Mena Re Life” to extend the Group’s reinsurance reach in the international arena. This step comes as part of DIG’s strategy of geographic expansion to open new markets and build on its strong credit and financial rating.

The Group has completed all the formal procedures of establishing the office in accordance with the laws of the Lebanese Republic. The group also obtained approval from the central bank to establish its London representative office earlier this year.
